Successfully dodging the drunken wasps feasting on over-ripe plums I’ve completed my summer field work. I’ve had a fascinating time surveying a total of 8 Orchards in the Clyde Valley. All that remains now is to identify this lot:
Once I’ve analysed all of my data, and read up on all of the literature I’m hoping to write a paper for one of the horticultural journals and produce a colour key to lichens of orchards. I also have another two papers queuing up to write from other things I’ve been up to. Busy busy busy.
So, in order to restore serenity here some pretty pictures from the orchard.
Cheerio folks
