27 September 2012 – Dingwall Green Gym
A week past Thursday we took our Dingwall Green Gym’ers to Pefferside Park, a wonderful green space in the middle of Dingwall. The flowerbeds and path system are a bit overgrown so we got stuck into cutting back the vegetation. One of the main tasks was to remove some of the sycamore that has overtaken in the beds and outcompeting all the other plants. This sparked the competitive nature in some folks who were determined to cut down the tallest tree!
This was a lovely session, surrounded by the changing colours of autumn. We are returning tomorrow with our Green Gym’ers to do some more clearance and the weather is promising a dry morning so fingers crossed!
