Green Heroes at Inverness

Scottish Green Heroes 2012

lepsoc2014.com

Today was an exciting day for us here at TCV Inverness as we were having a wee celebration of two of our most hard working and dedicated volunteers. Duncan is this years winner of the Scottish Volunteer of the Year Green Heroes award and Linda is our Green Hero for 2012. Everyone here at TCV Inverness appreciates all the hard work and enthusiasm that they bring to the group(s) – they live and breathe conservation & nature, and we feel very privileged to have them as part of our team.

Linda and Duncan have been a solid part of my time here as a Volunteer Officer, and I cannot imagine the group without them. Linda has been coming out with TCV Inverness since 2010 – originally starting out with our Green Gym she is now a regular with our Midweek Group and Dingwall Green Gym. Duncan has been coming out since 2011 and is now also a regular Midweek vol.

They are such a joy to work alongside and everyone here at TCV Inverness appreciates all their hard work and most of all their company. Again, congratulations to them and thank you for everything. Our group would not be the same without you both.

This is also a good moment to say thank you to ALL our volunteers. We value and appreciate every single one of you for all your hard work and enthusiasm. We have a strong group of volunteers here at TCV Inverness and every single volunteer is fantastic and makes the group as strong as it is!

I’ll end this here, it’s getting a bit soppy 😉
