After a long break from blogging, we’re finally back on track.
We’ve been pretty busy over the summer doing our usual projects, Carrick Way, Troon allotments, and the eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted us at the Earthship in Wishaw alongside the Stirling group!
We have recently been working at Dumfries House, or to give it it’s full title; The Great Steward of Scotland’s Dumfries House Trust.
They have a huge estate with loads of work for us to do! We are just getting our teeth stuck into plenty of rhodie bashing at the moment. Due to the nature of the site we cannot burn any of the cut material until the leaves are off the trees and there are no royal visitors at the house – which is a shame, but it does mean that we are going to have several huge bonfires on Nov 5th!
We are also hoping to get involved with their labyrinth project,as the group are now experts at labyrinths!
We even had time to do some Youth Achievement Awards with some of the group who are attending from Kilmarnock and Cumnock Youth Strategy.
