IT was all hands on deck on Saturday 26th April, as members of Knockbracken Community Allotments set about clearing plots and readying their plots for the growing season. Allotmenteers of all ages worked together to weed beds, plant remaining onions and potatoes, pot out seedlings, and create raised beds. All the hard graft earned a well deserved communal picnic lunch – with sausages cooked al fresco! What better way to spend your weekend in the sunshine?! Bring on the harvest!
