The children of Kinlochewe and Shieldaig nurseries have been out in the sunshine on Beinn Eighe this week. After hunting for minibeasts on the pine cone trail, we had a peak in the pond before having a picnic with the birds sing all around us!

Kinlochewe Primary will also be out on the reserve in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, I’m helping local parents set up a Wildlife Watch group in the village- hopefully the children will feel there’s a bit more to do in Kinlochewe.
