Save the flesh when you are carving pumpkins, puree it, and then use it to make this delicious spiced cake!
To puree the flesh: small pieces can be blended with a drop of water in a blender. Larger chunks will need cooking in a pan on the hob until soft with a drop of water.
You can also use tinned pumpkin puree in this recipe.
