This treat is really nice served with some fresh yogurt.
Instead of roasting, you can also skewer the spiced pineapple and toast over an open fire. Make sure you take the fruit off the skewer before eating to avoid facial burns.
Why not try other fruit too? Apple, thick slices of banana, and mango chunks would all work well.
