On Thursday, Saturday and Sunday BTCV ran a series of Spring Watch Action Team events in partnership with BBC 3 Counties Radio. One of these events was held at Downs Barn in Milton Keynes. Bridge construction and woodland path creation were the main tasks.

People as young as 3 years old (accompanied by an appropriate adult) were invoved in digging holes and creating minibeast habitats. A good time was had by all involved. Food and ice creams were generously provided by the 3 counties radio team who also joined in the work.

Thanks must go to BBC 3 Counties Radio and Ben Hammond (BTCV Staff) for organising these events. Special thanks to Helen, Hazel & Jane (BTCV Volunteer Leaders) who worked hard to ensure the day went smoothly and that everybody had a good time. Extra special thanks goes to all the volunteers who made it out.
