Carlton fencing & hedge laying

December 4, 2012 by Katherine Leave a Comment

The Weekday Conservation Team recently carried out work for Carlton with Chellington Parish Council. They saw our advert in the January issue of the Parish Council Newsletter. The work carried out included formalising the entrance to a playing field, erecting a temporary fence to protect the hedge and the laying and replanting of the hedge.

Above: The formalised entrance to the field and temporary fencing.

Above: The layed hedge and planted trees (the fencing is behind the hedge).

Carlton with Chellington Parish Council said this about our work: “The Parish Council are very pleased with the fencing work recently installed around their children’s playground. The work was completed on time and to a good standard, and the staff were all very pleasant and obliging. We are pleased to recommend their services to others.”

We are currently looking for projects suitable for a team of volunteers to carry out during the spring and summer. If you would like to find out we can do for you, or to arrange for a quote, please contact Ed Green on 01234 327300 or 07740 899633 or e-mail e.green@tcv.org.uk

Should you wish to volunteer with us in Bedfordshire, please contact Ed (as above) or you can view our online opportunities here.
