In a welcome change to bridgebuilding (three in the last two weeks!) it was back to Shortmead House, a site popular with the volunteers because of the free ice creams (thanks Marilyn). A variety of tasks awaited us including building a woodland path (also our second in two weeks), repairing fences, weeding around hedges and general tidying up. A beautiful day, lovely surroundings and a good day’s work done.
