The Tree Life Centre grows many types of wildflowers, which are good for wildlife and promoting native flowers of Britain.
The photo below shows a few of the many wildflower species grown here at the Tree Life Centre. The plants with the white flowers are called Greater Stitchwort.
Greater Stitchwort Stellaria holostea
A perennial with white flowers up to 30mm across with 5 petals. Can look like grass when not in flower and so is easily overlooked. This plant is good for hedgerows, but also in shady grassy areas such as a meadow near trees. It flowers from April until June.
