My name is Nadine and I have been writing the more ecology-based blogs for Project Scotland. I am 23 years old and believe it or not, I am Dutch! I have been writing the blog and volunteering now for about 3 months and always like to do it. Normally I study Biology in the Netherlands and I decided to come to Scotland for volunteer work. Saw loads of things already, also stuff that I might take back to my own place and maybe even compare to the ecology of how it is done back in the Netherlands. As believe me, Scottish nature is much grander and wilder than the Dutch nature, but they both have their own individuality and grandeur. I already noticed major influences by the industry around here, especially Falkirk area. It is comparable to the situation that you can find in the Netherlands so who knows, maybe you could compare the results booked over here, to the Dutch situation! I will certainly go back with a different view on it and hope to make a change to our world, however small it may be 🙂
Greetings and groetjes,
Nadine
