We are so lucky here at TCV Stirling to be able to work on some beautiful sites across the Scottish countryside. One of these lovely sites is Kippenrait Glen SSSI in Dunblane. This is a site of special scientific interest as it is made up of beautiful ash woodland and is home to some fantastic rare species.
Our wonderful volunteers helped clear back the paths here to improve the access and aesthetics of the well used paths throughout the site. These paths were overgrown with dead Rhododendron trees and bushes that had been treated with chemicals previously as they are a non-native invasive species. The results from the work we did at the site are fantastic! Hopefully this will encourage more people to explore this enchanting woodland.
