We’ve had a busy couple of months at Edinburgh TCV following the completion of the mammoth job out at Easter Inch Moss.
Firstly, our long devoted leader Dave Alcorn has managed to get himself a new job running accredited courses for TCV. I’m sure he will be sorely missed but we wish him all the best!
In this transitional period, we have only been able to run our usual task days more sporadically than we would like. However, we have still been able to get out on some great projects; helping with sign installation and wildflower meadow creation at Easter Craiglockhart Hill; a complete transformation of a fly-tipping site around Portobello golf course into a important greenspace; hedge planting in torrential rain out at Ravelston Woods; and finally constructing and installing some lovely raised beds for the folks at Jubilee House care home.
We’ll be back up to speed sometime around the start of July and hope to have some exciting new projects coming our way.
For now, It’s back to Ravelston Woods this week for some tree planting and wildflower meadow creation, hopefully in the sunshine!
