A lot has been happening in the garden over the last few months – it’s certainly the growing season! For things we want to grow and things we don’t necessarily want to grow as much as they have been! We have peas, rocket, a few different varieties of potato as well as some wildflowers sown a wee while ago starting to show face.
The remainder of the summer will be getting prepared for a garden party we’ll be having on Sunday the 24th of August to celebrate all that has been achieved in the garden and what it can offer those looking to get involved. There will also be a bigger event on Saturday 5th of July, Wild Day Out, taking place in Howden Park, with some activities taking place in the garden, like bug n beastie hunts…what will we find?
