This week we were in Inverlieth Park working on improving the footpath. The Wednesday was a very nice sunny day and we started work by removing the most stubborn of the weeds and overgrowth. We placed most of the offcuts in large bags to make them easier to drag to a large metal cage that was set to arrive. Sadly this turned up at the wrong end of the pond! So all the large sacks were in the wrong place and too heavy to drag.
The next day was not quite as nice and rained for most of the day, but this didn’t deter us. We continued with the edging and pruning, starting the day with dragging the large sacks into the metal cage, that was better positioned this time! Despite the poor weather we managed to completely finish the edging especially thanks to a sudden last burst of energy for Ross.
