Back in Belhaven on Thursday, we continued working on the new footpath that we started earlier in the week. This was a lot of work but luckily we also had the East Lothian lot to help us as well.
This was Lesley’s last day out with us and she had prepared a large selection of cookies for the group, along with brownies from the local bakery and some pumpkin seed tarts made by Rob. This made for a great lunch time feast with a large selection of delicious food.
As the day progressed we made a pathway for that a tractor could drive across to get into the field, without destroying the path; and a few others collected soil to build up the path that had a large ditch running through the centre of it. While collecting the soil Lesley whacked her shin with the shovel giving her a gash on her leg though it was quickly patched up, hopefully it didn’t ruin her last day.
