Although it’s been a relatively mild and wet winter (so far) the Renfrewshire Green Gym have still enjoyed their trips to Clyde Muirshiel Country Park to tackle the ever present Rhododendron problem. This time we were on the banks of Lochwinnoch in the Castle Semple area of the park. Wellies were doned, new bow saw blades were fixed and loppers were sharpened in anticipation of our visits. The damp weather meant that getting a fire started was tough going but we persisted as without one there would be no baked potatoes for lunch!
We’ll be returning there in November/December 2014 to do battle with the Rhododendron again.
