On Monday 13th January the Glasgow Mid-week Group headed over to Bridge of Weir in Renfrewshire to carry out path maintenance on part of the walkway beside the River Gryffe. The path had been eroded in parts by flash floods so we dug some channels and raised the edges of the stone steps to help direct water away from the centre of the walkway.
The group also cut back a lot of overhanging vegetation including thick brambles and scraped back the path edges to help open up the walkway. We achieved a lot today and it was really satisfying to see how much of a difference we made.
