Our second day at Hillhead Primary School continuing to clear the dense undergrowth in the woodland area. The group did a power of work cutting back the overgrown bushes and thinning out the tree saplings.
We discovered an old path edged with scalloped tiles which we think formed one of the original entrances to Kelvingrove Park and also what we think was an old gas street light! This area definitely hasn’t been touched in a long while!
But where there are bushes there’s litter – and a lot of it. We cleared 21 bin bags of rubbish but there’s a lot more to come. Good luck to the group out on site next week!!
