With the delivery of some fantastic hand-made log seats and a bench courtesy of Caledonian play, the volunteers were ready to finally complete the sensory garden project at oaklands school. It was a hard days work digging all the holes large enough to set the seats into, but when they were all in place and nicely surrounded by wood chippings it was very satisfying. After this all that was necessary was to give the garden a good tidy up and then stand back and admire the finished garden, hopefully the children of oaklands will appreciate using the garden as much as our volunteers did building it.
