Last week the group particpated in the removal of Snowberry and Brambles from Muiravonside Country Park near Falkirk on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Also, we did some species identification in order to gain a better understanding of what species were around us whilst we were working in the park. So far, we have idenified over fifty seperate species and hope to discover a lot more in the coming weeks. The lunch times were the best part of the week, as we played cricket. The ball was lost a few times due to the excellent batting and questionable fielding of some of our volunteers. We have no idea what the score is for the upcoming week, so we may have to improvise. For two days the weather was fantastic but we did get drenched in a downpour on Wednesday and had to go home a bit earlier than usual. All in all, we had a good week and look forward to returning there in the future.
