24 February 2012 – Willow Planting
The Midweek group were out last Friday finishing up the willow planting from the previous day. The group split into two, with half staying near Dingwall to cut down some willow to keep the supplies going. It became apparent as the morning went on that this spot was the spot to be if you wanted to catch the full force of the wind, and rain, coming down the Strath!

The rest of the group headed up to plant more willow near Castle Leod, Strathpeffer. The River Peffery at this end flows through a woodland area that was certainly a lot less windier and rainy.
