It was a mild yet overcast day when the heroic team at BTCV Fife set upon Lynebank on the 17th of January. Despite a minor set back at the start of the day involving the whereabouts of champion worker Douglas, the team had a cracking day and delivered a blinding performance as per usual. Chief David led the charge on tearing apart the disfigured fence laid waste by mother natures gale force winds. A magnificent duo of Sandy and Steven made short work of the fence, with Douglas right behind, tearing out nails with stunning determination. A similar charge was taken on the flower beds by second in command Amy. The work was reportedly backbreaking, due to the steel like resilience of the cruel icy ground. Thankfully Ian was right beside her, showing no mercy on those troublesome weeds.
Hats off to the volunteers for another dynamite shift.
