Thursday 20th and Friday 21st – The Ecology Centre, Craigencalt, Kinghorn.
The majority of BTCV volunteers were involved in cutting back of two overgrown willow structures; a tunnel and an igloo. Meanwhile Rab, Steven and Amy edged paths which had been devastated by Mondays down pour. However they stopped before they got to close to the bee hives. After a well deserved tea brake the team sorted the off cuts of willow into three piles; scrap, re-palatable and perfect for making willow structures. The kind people at the Ecology Centre let the team take some of the good willow to make willow structures at another site.
The group was very happy to be working at the tranquil Ecology Centre. The ducks were also happy we were there as they had their fair share of biscuits.
