Thursday 6th January:
Dunbar; beautiful sunshine and to the bone cold winter chill greeted us for our first trip to Dunbar & Lochend woods where we were to clear the ground of brash and put them into wildlife piles; Also to clear the burn of wood.
The sun shone all day but we worked in the shade of the woods clearing the floor of brocken branches, the cold was all around(still reminding us that its still winter) with occasional breaks by the sun getting through. Cleared the Burn of wood and rubbish to make it flow much better.
Lochend woods are stunning; we went to check out the lake the burn runs from before we left. Good day all round, lots done.
