On Tuesday we headed westward to Polkerment country park and thinned out the amount of beach and sycamore alongside the river path. At lunch we had an epic game of frisbee and we also filmed the entire day from start to finish and did a couple of video interviews.
On Wednesday we headed to corstorphine hill to tackle an invasive species called spirea, After finding it we started to cut it back and then peel the roots of the rocks. The roots come up a bit like a carpet comes up it is very hard work but very enjoyable.
On thursday we went to the hermitage of braid and tackled himalayan balsam for the entire day we finally made it to the hill were we could not pull it up any more because it was to steep. We have never reached this far before so we are making a difference so a big thanks to all the volunteers for their perseverance with it.
