Well just when you thought the project was finished at the Essenside United Reform Church, it was decided that the gravel we had previously laid down was not thick enough in a few area’s. So it was decided by the church that they would like our help again to lay down some more gravel and we were only too eager to lend a hand. The only thing I would like to see in the future is delivery trucks with longer reach arms on them, atleast that way we wont have to wheelbarrow the gravel so far. Things would get done much quicker, but hey I guess you can’t have everything I suppose. A great day was to be had by all as we chatted amongst ourselves while we worked, this is a good thing as it always makes the day fly by.
As this is my last week out with the Green Gym, I would like to say a very very very big thank-you to the Green Gym and all the volunteers that have been involved with myself and julie over the past few months. It has been so much fun and I have met so many nice and interesting people along the way. I will definetly miss you all and will try to keep in touch whenever I can. Who knows if I get some spare time keep an eye out for me as I may be making a suprise visit.
Many many thanks again
Yours
Leigh
