Yes you read that correctly and don’t need your eyesight checking, we even have photo’s to prove it. So I think I should add one straight away so you don’t think that i’m kidding on.
Julie and myself would like to thank all the volunteers for all their hard work in the past few weeks, either helping to collect bottles or help put the greenhouse together. You lot have been great in helping us to complete yet another project. We still have a few things left to do in the Linwood Community Gardens before the site is completed, so you still have a few more visits where you can admire your work. Well I say a few more weeks, that is untill the project is completed. But I can put a bet on it that any time you drive past, there will always be a volunteer milling around admiring the greenhouse.
The day went so well that even Julie had time to help with the planting of some shrubs.
On Thursday, just when you thought it was all over. Yes, you guessed it. Langcraigs Primary School has asked us to put up a greenhouse. Sadly not a bottle one this time so everybody breathed a sigh of relief. It was decided when we arrived on site that we would split the group up into two, this way one group could work on the greenhouse while we sent the other group out into the gardens. I had been tasked with the greenhouse work with the first group, so sadly I missed all the hard work going on outside. But when we had finished for the day I did manage to catch a glimpse of the other groups hard work. Well done guys and girls the gardens now look really great.
Lastly, please let me say again. THANKYOU!!! to everybody involved and all our great volunteers. The greenhouse looks wonderful, now all we need to do is fill it with plants.
We will see you again next week.
Yours
Leigh
