So today we returned to Essenside Church to continue work on the labryinth. Thankfully 3 tonnes of gravel had been delivered in the morning – I love it when a plan comes together, so we could crack on. Although it was pretty muggy the sun stayed behind the clouds which was very welcome indeed. It’s not often that I say its good that sun was hiding but when you are shovelling and barrowing gravel, you don’t need to sun to make you sweat!
Anyway, the team worked well and we continued laying the membrane and adding a thick layer of gravel. Everyone worked very hard to get 3 tonnes moved in one afternoon. One more session will be needed to finish the final section and then our work here will be done!
See you all next week at the cycle path in Yoker for some lopping!
