Today we were at the Focal Point Day Centre in Drumchapel, tending to their gardens. Not only did we manage to get all the work done but the centre treated us like royalty with hot soup and then later at tea break we were given cake and hot custard. Wow if we ever get another call from the centre you know we are going to be biting their hands off.
Today one of our firsts tasks was to plant some buddleia along the back wall of the garden that will hopefully bring out the butterflies during the summer. Our second task for the day was to plant a small sensory garden, which we managed to complete with some Lavender, Rosemary and also some Tyme. We also got their path weeded which was a bonus.
Big thanks to the people that managed to turn out, what with the weather the way it was and also the threat of snow on the horizon.
