Sorry folks, with all that snow we never got around to updating the blog, but now we are back in action you can expect more regular updates from now on
in the last week or two we have been quite busy out and about in the general area
linwood trim trail – sun was out so all nice and dry, ground not frozen either so managed to get alot of stuff shifted, namely large areas of grass that had overgrown the walk path, also came across about 6 bags worth of general rubbish that had been dumped, so that was collected up, people can be messy dumpers
glenburn – still working with local group “growing glenburn”. vegetation clearance coming along nicely, sun still out and got in our eyes but hey cant have everything i guess. volunteers worked as hard as they could
newshot island – yet another sunny day woohoo 😀 great day and got alot done, so much so that the project is now classed as finished and the bird-watchers have a good view of the reed beds
