A full 4 days up at Rosneath/Clachan Glen this week to clear a pond and boy was it hard work! We pulled out all manner of rubbish, enough to fully equip a new kitchen – fridge freezer, cooker, sandwich toaster, kettle…. the list goes on! Fortunately the weather was kind enough to us with just a few passing showers most days. In addition to the rubbish removal we were also cutting back the undergrowth and removing some large fallen trees, a job that became much easier on Wednesday when Charlie (from the Stirling office) arrived with his chainsaw. He also brought along the Stirling midweek group so our numbers swelled considerably making the job at hand progress a lot faster.
We’re back there again the week starting 30th November so hopefully we’ll have the project wrapped up before Christmas 😉
