So October has been a busy month. Despite the terrible weather we have soldiered on. A number of our school projects have now come to end. At Glenburn Nursery the new garden is finally complete, We have been working on this project on and off since February of this year. It was great to see the project finished and the were treated to cakes and a card from the nursery children.
In reward for all our hard work, we decided to have a change of pace. After two days of shovelling bark chip we headed to Gleniffer Braes Country Park for a walk with the Countryside Rangers. The rain had stopped and after the obligatory cup of tea off we headed.
The paths were muddy but the stories and knowledge from the Rangers more than made up for the ground conditions. We were awarded with some amazing views of the waterfall. At least something good has come out of all this rain! Was a lovely afternoon and I think healthy walks may become a more frequent feature of Green Gym now.
