Today the Dingwall GreenGym went on a healthy walk around Dingwall, starting in Craig wood.
Here there are a number of old Beech trees that are or show signs of becoming hollow.
Further along we entered an overgrown ‘tree garden’, as it was described by one of the group, where after our tea break we hugged an old sweet chestnut tree, to estimate its age, with five people needed to hug this tree it is ancient!
