Hi everyone,
Happy belated Easter Greetings from the BTCV crew at Aberdeen! To celebrate Easter (all things chocolate), we had an Easter Egg Hunt at the allottment with the Green Gymers. Yvonne cleverly hid 26 (yes, TWENTY SIX) items of choccie around the allottment and then unleashed the green gymers to pick up the scent.
Well, faster than Gil Grisson could say “let’s solve this case”, CSI Alan and CSI Ross cleaned up in the choccie stakes (Candice was no slouch either).
Alan showed excellent resource management and scooped the filling from one of his eggs and filled it with coffee (one of our favourite things) and had a coffee filled choccie (another of our favourite things) treat. Now, if a shot of rum had been thrown in…bliss.
A piece of recent news that not many of you may know, is that our lovely community project officer, Yvonne recently scooped a silver prize in the health issues section of the Youth Worker of the Year Awards. Swapping her steelies for some posh shoes, Yvonne attended the awards ceremony in Dundee.
If there is any photographic evidence that Yvonne didn’t wear her waterproofs, please forward to the Aberdeen office 😉 . Despite her very modest efforts to keep the news low key, everyone here at BTCV Aberdeen would like to say “Yeah Yvonne, we think you are great!”
Have a great week everyone and enjoy the sun.
