For those of you that don’t know we’ve been doing a sort of faux-drystone wall in the King’s Park in Stirling since last August. It’s semicircular and built as part of an extension to the existing butterfly garden and is essentially constructed in a drystone way but with the addition of mortar in the middle with the packing material in order to stop stones being easily removed, as it is quite a popular park and right beside a childrens play area.
Well it’s been five months now and I think we’re finally getting close to finishing it. There are already photos of our progress on Picasa which is now linked to on the right of the page and I’ll put some up of the end result if I’m still alive by the time we get it finished.
