Regrettably, I write to advise you of our decision to close the BTCV Scotland Oatridge office, situated within Oatridge Agricultural College, from Friday the 19th October 2008.
This decision has not been an easy one, particularly when we recognise the exceptional contribution all of our Oatridge volunteers have made in delivering environmental change projects across the Falkirk and West Lothian areas. For this, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you personally for volunteering with BTCV Scotland.
It may be possible that some of you have left personalbelongings in the office, van or tool store. If this is the case, can Iask that you contact Sandra Garner, at this office, to advise on whatitem has been left noting that, in certain circumstances, it may benecessary to provide some proof of ownership e.g. mobile phone.
Finally,I would like to hope that some of you may be able to continue workingwith BTCV Scotland through our Stirling or Edinburgh offices howeverfor many we realise that this will be an impractical proposition.Alternative volunteering opportunities may however exist and we wouldencourage you to consider contacting your local Volunteer Centre orLocal Authority Ranger Service to see what activities are currentlytaking place.
Ta much
Sandra
