We were busy last week helping to work on some of the footpaths of the Carrick Way path network prior to the opening weekend of the walking festival.
Our work took us all over South Ayrshire, from Crossraguel Abbey by Maybole to Old Dailly and Straiton.
We opened up overgrown paths, strimmed to create new pathways, installed a bridge and waymarked some of the trails.
Amazingly the weather stayed good for us and the walkers at the festival appreciated the work that had been done.
