TCV Scotland were helping at Cranhill Community Centre’s, spooky Halloween event during the school October week holiday. So when the daylight started to fade the children of Cranhill were enjoying a variety of activities. About 40 children and parents came along, and took part in a variety of activities from the traditional dooking for apples, to making bugs, broomsticks and badges and my personal favourite – making a huge spider web made from wool. The end result was pretty cool I’ll think you’ll agree!
We were also lucky to have Amy Styles from TCV Scotland come along with a selection of pond creatures for everyone to take a look at and learn some fun facts. Great afternoon all round!
