Todays task was to help Glasgow Green Space Officer James McMahon create a communtiy Garden for the local people of Priesthill. The garden has various chainsaw sculptures and is divided up into different zones. We were helping to paint the giant wooden pencils create a gabion wall and move bark to create a run around area for the nursery and primary school children, that looked like tellytubby land. Other tasks included creating a path and planting flowers in the flower garden, when fully finished this garden will be a fantastic asset for the local community and will include raised beds, poly tunnel, Crannog and Fort for local children to play on – Sue Graeme – Volunteer Officer.
