Today we were at Bonaly Country Park on the South side of Edinburgh, a location any former Scouts will know well.
Here we were adding some edging to some new steps that had recently been built. We used some logs and large rocks to edge the path. This was heavy work and tired us all out a bit but the end result was fantastic, the edging really set the steps off and will extend the life of the steps by holding them together and not letting any of the aggregate wash away from the steps in bad weather. It also reminded us what we are capable of when we all work together as a team.
After this we took a twenty minute walk up what seemed like a mountain, but is more than likely just a hill. Here we were removing old fence posts and moving them to another location.
