A sweeter treat for this recipe card! I used a punnet of fresh raspberries but page four of the step by step has other suggestions that you could try. I didn’t flour the fruit as cupcakes are small, but for a larger cake you would need to roll the fruit in flour to stop them sinking through the batter mix.
I haven’t tried making these with vegan alternatives so I’m not sure how well it would work – but I am happy for someone to try and let me know!
