Flitton Moor is a site that the Weekday Conservation Team visits a couple of times each winter to help out with the ongoing management by the ‘friends of’ group.
On the first of December 2008, the WCT carried out several tasks.
Above: A very reflective Sam carries vegetation we have cleared from the ditch.
Above: Robins are always the first birds to take advantage of the human disturbance (apparently we are the modern version of the wild boar kicking up all the insects that the Robins then feed on). There were several Robins feeding heartily on the insects including the one in the above photograph.
